First Flowers of Spring:Crocus

Today it “feels” springy in rural NW Ohio. The sun is brightly shining, the temperature is in the 50′s.  Polly and Bethany are working on raking the front part of our yard, trying to repair the damage done by a rough winter. Polly told me, stay inside or you won’t feel up to going to the game tomorrow. I ignored her and  decided to tour the yard looking for signs of life. Much to my delight, in the bulb patch we planted two years ago, a few crocuses have pushed their way up through the cold, wet ground. Here are a few of the pictures I took:
