Christians Say the Darnedest Things: Atheism is a Satanic Virus by Pastor Happiers Simbo

happiers-simbo

ATHEISM is unbelief in God and denial of God as the Supreme Being and the source of all creation. Atheism is closely connected to liberalism. Liberalism simplifies religion in order to equate idol worship to the worship of God the creator of the universe and all that is there in. In other words, liberalism is a tool created by Satan which seeks to justify Atheism to the vulnerable world of today. Atheism takes Faith away from the heart of a man and the result is fear, suspicion, cruelty, violence, chaos and confusion.

….

Atheism, like a virus, is spreading in the hearts of mankind and in high places and governments of the world. Most of the advanced world has become non-believers in God as they make materialism, modernism and liberalism a gospel to preach to the world and in recent years’ force has been use in the form of laws and sanctions to enforce these gospels of the devil. There is systematic denial of the existence and sovereignty of God the Creator. They deny the atoning power of the blood of Jesus Christ shed on Calvary’s cross; they deny his resurrection from the dead and the necessity of Salvation.

Multitudes are following this satanic teaching but unfortunately they have not found piece [sic] in their pursuits. They cry in despair but no one hears them. Suicides, divorces, depressions, sleepless nights, alcoholism, immorality, greediness and many other countless human calamities and vices are a direct result of this misleading, satanic ideology called Atheism. The world over is catching up to this folly called Atheism and liberalism and indeed suffering and lack of direction especially among the young generation is the order of the day.

“They cry in despair but no one hears them. Suicides, divorces, depressions, sleepless nights, alcoholism, immorality, greediness and many other countless human calamities and vices are a direct result of this misleading, satanic ideology called Atheism.”

    Let’s fix this, shall we?

“They cry in despair but no one hears them. Suicides, divorces, depressions, sleepless nights, alcoholism, immorality, greediness and many other countless human calamities and vices are a direct result of living in this unfortunately very imperfect world.”

What bugged me most about Christianity is that it wasn’t true. I cried in despair but an answer didn’t come. At least, no longer believing I know an answer won’t come, not from God anyway. I might try and find a human solution to any problems I have, and sadly some problems don’t come with an (easy) solution. Atheism is simply more honest. It clearly says: yeah, life can be crap and there isn’t some god going to fix that. At least, you know where you stand.

With a religion that involves any kind of interventionist being, you still get crap complete with a dose of false hope. Sometimes I miss the false hope, but it was false. You might think you can stand on it but it wil eventually turn out to be quicksand anyway.

Rather, evangelical faith in a (non-existent) god takes humanity away from the minds of people and the result is fear (believe or you burn for eternity), suspicion (new world order, anyone?), cruelty (kick others while they’re down), violence (don’t spare the rod), chaos (see previous items), and confusion (applying ancient texts literally to modern life).

I just LOVE it when someone who doesn’t know me, has no notion about my life, or how I arrived at my current state of belief/skepticism takes it upon themselves to christiansplain how I really feel. How wonderful it is to have a total stranger who’s opinion I don’t give a fig for assure me that they have all the answers that they also are totally sure that I’m really looking for, only I’m too blind or foolish to know it. /sarcasm off.

Really, here’s a question; why would someone believe something without a shred of factual evidence to support it? I’m not talking about faith, here, I’m talking about the whole young-earth creationist fundamentalist smash. I could make up a bunch of reasons for someone rejecting reality. I could point at the social disfunction common in evangelical groups. I could generalize about educational attainment and IQ. But I’m neither rude enough or passive aggressive enough to bother.
