Christians Say the Darnedest Things: Women Should be Executed if They Have an Abortion

Abortion is murder and nobody has the right to take the life of an innocent child. One of the stupidest arguments on the pro-abortion left is that it’s “my body, my choice.” The absurdity is beyond any sound logical reason. Abortions are not “performed” on women or their bodies, it’s committed on an innocent child.

Here is the thing, women should have absolutely no say whatsoever in the issue of abortion. The abortion debate has already been settled. God hates the hand that sheds innocent blood (Proverbs 16:17) and the mother who takes her child in to be murdered is the primary hand in the perpetration.

Women should not get to choose whether or not they get to abort their child. There should be no choice, ever. If you commit murder, you should be put to death. Why should a mother be allowed to determine the fate of a child? If the millions upon millions of murdered children could speak for themselves, would they do so the way their mothers did? Would they choose to end their own life?

For Christians who believe that children who die before the age of accountability go to heaven, they ought to stop opposing abortion. The aborted child gets a free pass to heaven, but if they don’t get aborted, are born, and grow up, 100% of them will commit some sin, and according to Jesus, a small minority will follow the narrow path to heaven. Most will follow the wide path to destruction.

Matthew 7 “13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

According to Jesus, it seems like being aborted would be a 100% guaranteed win of eternity in heaven.
Now, Christians are likely to say that the aborted person will miss out on living a decent life on this Earth, but Jesus also addressed that in Matthew 16:26 “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
What is gaining a life of 80 or so years on Earth compared to losing eternity in heaven?

I know most Christians will still instinctively oppose abortion, because they haven’t really thought about what the Bible really says. Unless they are in a denomination that teaches that dead babies go to hell because they couldn’t have accepted Jesus (John 3:18) they ought to be in favor or abortion because all aborted babies win the cosmic lottery.
I think this quote from Solomon applies to them. Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

Forgive the quoting of scripture, but it is the only weapon that will have any effect on some of them. Like the saying goes. Don’t bring a knife to a gun fight.

If they weren’t hypocrites and control freaks, that might work.

But they are. The anti-abortion fanaticism has never been about fetuses. It has always been all about controlling and punishing women. “Women should have absolutely no say whatsoever in the issue of abortion” — notice his vehemence and repetition of that point. Because that’s where his real passion is. That’s what this is all about.

What a horrible person! I don’t really like using this adjective as it reminds me of the White House idiot who uses the word about everything he disagrees, but here it’s appropriate.

There is just so much to criticise in this article. Should the abortion debate even include elements of religious belief, given separation of religion and state? (Which I’ll guess most fundamentalists don’t realise!). Secondly, capital punishment, even in the US, is pretty rare (it should be abolished completely) and is reserved for only the most horrific crimes. Any lawyer worth his salt would be able to mitigate punishment because of circumstances in every case of abortion. However, the biggest issue would be proving that the zygote, or embryo, or fetus, would have continued to term and be born healthy, and not have aborted spontaneously. This latter point makes god the biggest abortionist in history, by a factor off the scale, another reason that bringing religion into the debate results in egg on face!

If men’s and women’s physiology both were able to carry a pregnancy, this probably would never have been a debate at all. But because men’s and women’s physiology has always been different, we are dealing with thousands of years of humans believing that the female is inferior than the male and thus in need of guidance and whose primary purpose is procreating.

I find it impossible to have a rational conversation with anti-abortionists who truly believe that abortion is murder.

As the late, great black feminist attorney Flo Kennedy said “If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament”.

Or, if you prefer, as the great (and thankfully not late) Betty White says “If men could get pregnant, getting an abortion would be as easy as going to Jiffy Lube”

Is there a better way to hate than is offered by religion? While haters seemingly grieve for zygotes, they conveniently avoid grieving for their own sheer stupidity and delusion, the hatred they dole out under the banner of the Cross. Reformation Charlotte? More like Deformation Charlotte by the sound of it…

People who believe that God hates the hand that sheds innocent blood seem to forget that they also believe this god has slaughtered billions of people over the centuries because he was angry at them. I know the excuses already: no one is innocent, god made us and he can do as he will with us. etc. But this guy uses the argument that fertilized eggs and embryos are innocent blood so he needs to hold his god accountable for the billions of spontaneous abortions that have happened over time. After all his eye is on the sparrow and he is behind everything that happens. If it is his will that all pregnancies come to term there would be no miscarriages, spontaneous abortions or still births. Unless of course there is no god—hmm.

Re “If you commit murder, you should be put to death.” This is the problem of Biblical justice. Nearly every infraction of “the rules” results in a death sentence. In this case, the “person” above is claiming that “murder is morally wrong, so if you commit murder, we will murder you.” So, we will avenge a moral wrong by committing the selfsame moral wrong? What is wrong with these people? As usual, Christians have left their brains at the door.

And, as usual, he gets the “my body, my choice” argument wrong and I have to suspect that this is deliberate. I just don’t understand why these morons think that the problem is with the fetus. A healthy woman can have a great many babies, that is the truth. So, if this baby is not appropriate for her, there may be another or maybe many others. If you kill this woman, or damage her psychologically, what about all of the other unborn babies she could have had. They should read “The Goose That Laid the Golden Eggs” again and reconsider the “moral” of the story.

    Christian misogyny is showing.

Why is it always men who come up with proposals, even if they are just rhetorical stances, like this? Some women, of course, are adamantly opposed to abortion; but they don’t advocate the death penalty for women who have them. Women seem to recognize the reasons, whether or not they agree, that women may seek abortions. Men who are rabidly anti-abortion, don’t.

So, this dude is going to kill a full-grown, living person who does something he doesn’t like? Why does he get to choose what is good and what not? If all these right-to-lifers fought for all life, I’d be more impressed with their argument, but they want to kill women who have abortions, abortion doctors and they’re usually pro-capital punishment. Further, they don’t usually give a damn about these babies after they’re born, proving the saying that life begins at conception and ends at birth with these people.
