This verse best describes the current state of affairs politically and socially in the United States. Thanks to Trumpists (including Christian Nationalists, White Supremacists, and Fundamentalist Christians) and their irrational anti-science, anti-vax, anti-mask beliefs, our nation is on the verge of civil war. Over what? Vaccines, masks, and fear of losing personal FREEDOM are driving otherwise decent, hardworking Americans to fall under the spell of false prophets. Believing the lies peddled by these charlatans, our friends, neighbors, and family members are embracing all sorts of nonsense. There was a time when we could ignore such people, pushing them to the fringes of our society. Unfortunately, the election of Donald Trump changed everything. Democrats thought that kicking Trump out of office would be the cure for what ails us. Uncle Joe will save us from ourselves, right? How is that working out for us?

She wears a necklace that says vaxed instead of the cross. She said that she prays to God. My question would be, which God? Not the God of the Bible. A Democrat, who supports the murders of infants, lawlessness, godlessness through socialism, sexual immorality— which is homosexuality, and making Americans take a deadly jab against their will or they will get punished. This lady is demonic, and she is making this vac**** her religion by saying it is from God, and she is sending out her apostles. Her gospel to Christians is, Jesus loves you and wants you to take the death shot. Would Jesus want you to take a jab that will destroy your immune system, which He put into your body to protect it from viruses? This woman tries to look like a lamb but speaks like a dragon.
Is Ruiz alone in his beliefs? Of course not. We live in a country where lunacy is now mainstream. Millions of Americans believe COVID-19/vaccines are tools used by Democrats, liberals, socialists, evolutionists, and atheists to destroy Christian America and usher in the Antichrist’s one-world government. No amount of science or rational argumentation will change their minds.
The Apostle Paul had this to say to a young preacher named Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:1: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. Perilous times have indeed come, but no Jesus is coming as a thief in the night to rapture us away. We are on our own.

First, I want to say that people I care about a LOT aren’t vaccinated. They are adults so they get to make that decision. And I’m not going to fight that battle. I would feel horrible if they got covid but I can’t make them change. So…having said that, most of the unvaccinated are white evangelicals, Trump’s base. So they are choosing to die for their beliefs? How is that going to help them?
A Breitbart columnist said everyone should get vaccinated, but that us evil leftists are fiendishly clever in making fun of the antivaxxers, so that they will refuse to get vaxxed…TO OWN THE LIBS. Wow. They apparently don’t understand that “the Left” is made up of many factions, more if you count everyone to the left of the far right. Even if we were fiendish (we’re not) we aren’t ORGANIZED. Also…we want them to be vaxxed so that the virus slows down mutating into worse strains, and to help immunocompromised people who can NOT get vaxxed.
So there you have it: we live in an America that is anti-science, anti-reason, anti-fact.
Is he… Is he actually… Is he actually putting asterisks in the words “vaccine” and “vaccinated” as if they were words from some ancient book or scroll that might invoke a horror-movie demon if spoken aloud? Is Spaniard actually treating those words the same way the some Judaic sects treat the word G*d, as if they had some equivalent spiritual power?
Has he no faith? (Rhetorical question. I’m well aware that he has faith, and equally well aware that it’s a warped and deeply fucked-up sort of faith. And also that he has exactly zero understanding of what vaccines are and how they work, and indeed why human being invented medical science in the first place.)

Vaccines kill the immune system?! Oh good grief, is there no end to individual, and group, stupidity?
The reality is that the world is having to deal, for the first time in generations, with a disease that is affecting everybody, regardless of race, religion, or age. It evolves, because it wants nothing but to multiply and to survive, much like humans. If there really were a god then there’s no escaping the fact that this god must either have created the disease, or is at least not prepared to prevent its spread? Well, not entirely. Perhaps god inspired the scientists who created the vaccines that are proving so effective in the battle against the disease?
The fact is that the US is an outlier in the civilised world in its childishness over vaccinations, not to mention mask wearing. It has now suffered more deaths than it suffered from the Spanish flu over a hundred years ago (ironic the reference to ‘Spanish’, as Spain is dealing with the situation in a much more mature way). The infection, and death, rate in the US continues to increase, whereas other countries are seeing huge reductions. The UK, hardly the last word in sanity at times, now has nearly 90% of its adult population (over 16) double jabbed and, whilst infection rates are moderately high (though stabilising), hospital admissions are steadily reducing, as are deaths, and that’s having completely unlocked the economy and ditching almost all mask wearing.
Vaccines do work. The problem with the US, it seems to me, is that there’s an obsession with the Constitution, especially its right to freedom of speech, which we all should cherish, but which countless millions abuse. Uneducated, stupid fools, like this Spaniard, are actually interfering, via their ludicrous propaganda, with the rights of the majority of US citizens, who want to see an end to the pandemic. Unfortunately Trump let loose a positive tidal wave of ignorance and selfishness, against which there is no vaccination.
I had a call from a friend and former colleague yesterday. We chatted for a bit about the events of the past 18 months. He told me that covid went through his family at the start of the year, putting him in hospital – and claiming the lives of his father and his 28 year-old, healthy girlfriend.
It boggles the mind that people can still claim this is a hoax, or a conspiracy, or an assault on freedom. The evidence is overwhelming. Vaccines are a proven and effective means of eliminating dangerous diseases. It’s like some people want to watch the world burn.
It’s sad that Spaniard believes ridiculous conspiracy theories, and even worse that he peddles them to readers. How do the “theys” benefit by wiping out the population? I mean, there wouldn’t be any workers left to serve the “theys”, so how does that make sense?
I am so suck of this sh!t.

Preachers say such stupid things, and then we are to accept that they know how the world was formed (in 7 days and no belly buttons!) how the world will end, and what happens when you die.

The thing that put me on the road to breaking with (usually conservative) Christianity is its hatred of the LGBTQ+ group. Our family members are gay (more now than I knew then), and the couple I’m thinking of showed that they truly loved each other. I couldn’t understand how true love could be wrong, because it isn’t.
I just tell those folk that Jesus would get vaccinated.
I had to laugh at that idiotic poster or photo of the blonde girl and that slogan on her shirt there. Now, if they truly believe the Bible, then they should know already that Jesus,being half- human, was incapable of ever getting sick, so logically, he didn’t NEED vaccinating. However,humans being fully human, do need such things. Is that so hard for anti- vaxxers to figure out ? I can understand making certain that there are no toxins or impurities in vaccine bottles, I’d want that kind of diligence for any vaccine I take, be it tetanus or shingles,etc.
