Christians Say the Darnedest Things: God Would Edit the Bible if It Was Wrong About Creationism

By Dr. David Tee, World Renowned Young Earth Creationist

The first 10 seconds of this video,  I Am Willing to Cause Division in the Church over This, show a ‘Christian’ leader denouncing Young Earth Creationists. We are not sure who the speaker is, but we have heard of him. [The video was produced by Ken Ham.]

….

The man is dead wrong, of course, because anything but Young Earth Creation is wrong and telling everyone God lied not once but several times throughout the Bible. People may argue that God cannot change the biblical content, yet that is a mistaken idea.

God can change his word if it were wrong, and if you have noticed, God has not changed the Bible in over 2000 years. If YEC were wrong, do you not think that God would have raised up someone to make the corrections in time so that everyone had the truth?

But as the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Silver Scrolls, and other ancient archaeological biblical discoveries have proven, God did not do that. YEC has remained in the Bible ever since God had man put his words to paper.

Dr. David Tee: “God can change his word if it were wrong, and if you have noticed, God has not changed the Bible in over 2000 years.”

God could also clarify, to name a random few:

    — The Trinity
    — The End Times
    — What really happens in Hell
    — Why we should care about Paul’s dictates to the various churches
    — How two slow-moving, eucalyptus-eating koala bears were able to travel to the Middle East in order to board Noah’s Ark and survive the flood
    — Why did babies and toddlers deserve to drown in the flood
    — If a Pentecostal or Charismatic prophesizes in tongues, yet there’s no one to translate, can the tongue talker be put to death
    — Do Protestants or Catholics have a more accurate theology
    — Who was around to document Jesus’s 40 days in the wilderness, especially his conversation with Satan
    — Was Joseph Smith a true prophet
    — Was there really a zombie apocalypse in Jerusalem when Jesus died
    — If God were capable of changing his word if he wanted to when it’s wrong, couldn’t he also stop pedophile clergy if he wanted to when it’s wrong
    — Etc

However, I have noticed (and I’m sure Dr. David Tee has noticed too), God remains silent about these and other sticking points. I can only speak for myself, but I have a strong suspicion as to why “…God has not changed the Bible in over 2000 years.”

The bible is changed every minute of every day. When it went from being the mind of god, assuming it ever was inspired by god, to being committed to text it changed. When it was defined as a particular set of texts (which vary according to belief) it was changed. When it was translated from its original languages it was changed. Every time people attend bible study classes and discuss the meaning of particular texts it changes.

In any event, we know for a fact that evolution is true. That means that the bible is wrong.

Interesting that, according to “real” biblical scholars the HUMAN writers of the bible, have been discovered to have made 300,000 + errors in the current edition of said document. Source: Bart Ehrman.

So why isn’t “God” dealing with this?

“The Bible” wasn’t even a thing until a bunch of priests had some meetings, argued over which texts would be included, and then it was announced as “The Bible”. And over the centuries, there were still arguments about it – the Protestants decided to chuck “The Apocrypha” which – wait for it – were canonized texts. I guess Mr Tee woukd say that’s where God was fixing an error, which there are no errors, so…..look over there!
