Did you know that Satan, also known as the Devil, Beelzebub, Evil One, and Morningstar, has a special medicine he uses when he catches a cold? Currently manufactured and sold by the Monticello Drug Company, 666 Cold Medicine, when taken as directed, is sure to knock the heaven right out of a cold.

I remember this as a kid!! And being scared of the commercial!
I’m so amazed the Christians haven’t shut that company down yet!
Wow! My grandmother, a good Methodist lady, had that fan, in the days when only commercial buildings had air conditioning. Somehow, I never connected it with cold medicine.
Never heard of 666 Cold medicine, but there is a church here called Morning Star Church, which is the closest thing in my town to a “mega church”. I had forgotten that Lucifer was called the Morningstar. Sure explains why poll results showed my town rejects protections for our fellow citizens who are LGBTQ, and would elect Trump President.
Hey Bruce, got any suggestions for fighting Satanists posing as fundagelicals? /snark
What a hoot! This had to come out before the great Satanic panic, because I can’t imagine a worse name. (Except for that diet candy named Aids?)
How did that product ever survive?
I must admit, though, that had I known about it, I would have bought it, even if I never used it!
That’s awesome….
