Vivek is just ridiculous and obnoxious. Ohio has deteriorated under Republican rule, but of course he and the true believers can’t see it.
I’d think that Canada might have an opinion about the name of a lake that shares their border. Isn’t Lake Erie named after an indigenous tribe anyway as Huron and I’m pretty sure Michigan are.
Michigan gets its name from the lake “Big Water” (Ojibwe). So Vivek has it backwards, the state of Ohio should have its name changed to Erie.

Yep. It’s genius. While the rabble is distracted by what geographic features should be called, they won’t be paying attention to stuff like tax breaks for billionaires, cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and Social Sercurity, and suppressing speech and other Constitutional rights that MAGA politicians find inconvenient. It may well be true that Trump is psychopathic but he has a coherent strategy. Magicians call it misdirection.
