I Have COVID-19 — Again

gone fishing

I have been thrice vaccinated, yet I contracted COVID in August 2022. I was quite sick, but I survived. Today, I tested positive for the virus again. I’m sicker than I was the first time — mainly respiratory problems.

I will likely not do any writing this week. If you are sitting on a guest post, now would be a good time to send it to me.

Thank you for your love and support.

Take it easy, Bruce. May you have a prompt, uncomplicated recovery, with no after-effects. We’ll be here when you get back.

Hi Bruce. Hope you start to feel better soon. You mentioned that you might have time, during your convalescence, to look at guest posts. I hope I don’t seem like an opportunist, but I have a short story (set in the 1960s), about Fundamentalist Baptist taboos on popular music. It’s based on my experience. How should I send this – to see if you’re interested in posting?

Dang ! Am I sorry to hear this,Bruce ! That SO sucks, and my heart goes out to you. I know that because of my own circumstances,I could get it again also . I have the long version myself. It was at a real stressful time, when I caught it. And not in the usual way,as warnings go. Mine was nosebleeds, which I never have, along with hiccups. If this happens, anyone, get tested ! It will help if you sleep upright, and I hope your doctor’s give you Regeneron, instead of Redemsivir. Avoid ventilators,if possible. Get that guaifenisin syrup, Robitussin or something like that, for congestion. Keep the lungs open. My regular GP wouldn’t give me the pills for this, I hope yours does. Now is a real bad time to end the free tests and treatment. Biden should keep this ongoing.
