Christians Say the Darnedest Things: Secular Scientists Need to Repent and Follow the Bible Says Dr. David Tee

First off, we need to look at the source of scientific information. Are the people bringing us the alternative to Genesis 1 or scientific discoveries actually and truly Christian? If not then we know that they are being led by evil and are deceived people.

They are the blind trying to lead the blind.

….

God separates education into two distinct categories—true teaching and false teaching. If the scientists are not following God and the Bible then they are not bringing true teaching to the faithful. They may mix some of the truth in with their alternative ideas but as all con men know, to deceive people you need some truth to make the con work.

….

Secular scientists and alternative believers bring a different gospel than the one Jesus and the disciples taught. They are saying that Moses is wrong but Jesus, Paul, and the apostles never corrected Moses and in fact, Jesus stated in John 5:45ff that if you do not believe Moses how can you believe his words? So believing Genesis 1 is important to one’s salvation.

Secular scientists and alternative believers do not believe Moses thus they try to alter the gospel message because they cannot bring themselves to follow God’s rule of using faith to accept a supernatural origin.

….

We have help [God and the Bible]. The secular scientist does not have this aid so we know that whatever they conclude or say is not coming from God but from evil. They do not know what the truth is.

….

There is only one way for secular science to be compatible or harmonized with scripture and that is for those in secular science to repent of their sins and get right with God then toss out all false teachings from the field of science.

God and the Bible do not humble themselves to secular scientists, science, or alternative believers. Those groups are to humble themselves and give up what is wrong. We cannot put the truth into secular science because it is not made new but a very sinful and corrupt field of research and the Bible teaches us.

….

One is not blessed by God for taking sinful words and counsel over God’s words. Here is a question I have asked many an atheist, alternative believer, and secular scientist: Where in the Bible do both God and Jesus give permission to take secular science over their words?

So far not one of the people I have asked has been able to provide an answer.

They can’t because both God and Jesus tell us to follow them over the secular world and to use faith when we believe. We do not have to use secular science and its rules to combat secular science. We just need to know who God is and what happens if he is wrong to see that the truth lies in Genesis 1 and not with those who have rejected that passage of scripture.

It is not the amount of educational degrees behind a name that finds the truth nor is it the amount of expertise or years of doing experiments that lead us to the truth about our origins. It is following the Holy Spirit that gets us to the truth and the Holy Spirit will not contradict God or the Bible.

The only true way to ‘harmonise’ science and scripture would be for theists to acknowledge that the pursuit of science unhindered by religious interference is why we have developed the technology we have today.

There is no such thing as secular science. Science is either good or bad. I don’t think I have ever encountered anyone so lacking in reasoning faculty as Tee.

Real scientists aren’t concerned with how their observations, tests, and results square with the Bible or any other religious text. That’s irrelevant. Shoving observations and trst findings into agreement with any sort of religious text isn’t science.

Hello Bruce, I live in S.E. PA and the weather has been glorious the last couple of days, I hope you are able to enjoy it
with your family. It is also wonderful to see you posting! Your followers have certainly been concerned about your health and it is a joy to see you back at the “The Life and Times”. I certainly hope the recent surgery has made things a bit more tolerable for you. At 65, (with type 2 and having experienced a heart attack 2 years ago) my issues pale in comparison.

    On subject:

For IBF cultists 1+1 does not equal 2. it equals what cultist followers say it does.

A photo of a rougly spherical planetoid from a space craft or from the moon = Flat earth.

Biblical Scholars such as Bart Ehrman are clearly ignorant – Never mind such people have the command of
Latin, Greek, Hebrew, and various other languages, earned PhD’s and actually study historically archived information.

Archeologists are clearly stupid. Never mind that in the late 19th and early 20th century, these very types of people
(MOTIVATED) to practice their discipline, with shovel and spade, in hopes of PROVING the accuracey of the bible,
    found, the exact OPPOSITE.

Never mind that no one has a CLUE whom actually wrote the Gospels, when, or how much the originals have been bastardized by Scribes, over and over and over again.

Never mind the findings and research of Geologists, Paleontologists, Geneticists, Dendrochronoligsts, Astronomists, and Evolutionary Biologists: All “Hog-Wash”. Science overall: Bull-Shit.

It does puzzle me though why the cultists enjoy all of the trappings of the above disciplines? Cars, Electricity, Television, the Internet and things of that nature.

No, I, and everyone else, are supposed to suppress science and education and put stock in what a person holding some unaccomplished “degree” from a religous university “degree factory”, located in a basement somewhere in Ohio, or wherever, tells me, while demanding aquiescence, financial compensation, and mind control over the clothes I wear, my haircut, who I associate with and oh so recently, who I vote for.

    OK

    Got it.

May you burn in your fantasy lake of fire forever Dr. (LMAO) D-Tee
YOU are a DISGRACE to the HUMAN RACE!!!!!!

Sorry, Dr. Tee, but I prefer my theology–such as it is, being an agnostic–to be informed by today’s science, not the beliefs of religious folk two thousand years ago. I firmly believe that the Bible is a group of manuscripts, written over hundreds of years, for various purposes, by many people, some of it in an effort to outline what their god wanted from them–not the revealed word of the Christian god.

We know a great deal more about the Universe today than our distant ancestors did. That has given reason to marvel at far more than our ancestors knew. What would they have thought of the wonders made visible by the James Webb telescope, or our visits to the surface of the moon, or the artifacts we have sent to places millions of miles from earth, which still send messages home? Would their theology have changed? I hope so..

I am assuming that “Dr.” Tee skipped from one country to another on an airplane, ship or some other conveyance that is a product of technology, which is made possible by science.

His question:, “Where in the Bible do both God and Jesus give permission to take secular science over their words?” has to be one of the most nonsensical I’ve ever
encountered. It assumes that the person being asked the question will see, and submit to, the authority the Bible claims for itself. Anyone whose work includes observation and recording of data and phenomena would not do any such thing : For them, evidence and not assertion is the authority.

Someone refresh my memory about where or by what construction of words is the concept of “secular science” written about in the Bible. Tee is right about one thing. Calling a body of knowledge “science”, “secular”, “sacred”, or otherwise, does not immunize it from bias, corruption, error or interpretation to support some agenda, his included. Citing the inerrancy of “real” science has the same logical flaw as inerrancy of the Bible and/or Biblical science, (whatever that is). Any writing or body of knowledge is subject to interpretation and thus, subject to the motives of the interpreter, secular or otherwise. Dr. Tee demonstrates that logical flaw saying science is what he says it is and means what he says it means. His inerrant vision defines reality for him and his followers.

What does this gibberish even mean? I read that far and stopped. There is no point debating a person who writes this kind of crap and thinks it is logical or factual.

But I do appreciate their support of pronouns… 🤔🤔

Well geez Sage, what part of actual and true isn’t understood? I mean those words are conclusive. See? Or is SATAN clouding your mind?
