This is the one hundred and forty-fourth installment in The Sounds of Fundamentalism series. This is a series that I would like readers to help me with. If you know of a video clip that shows the crazy, cantankerous, or contradictory side of Evangelical Christianity, please send me an email with the name or link to the video. Please do not leave suggestions in the comment section. Let’s have some fun!
Today’s Sound of Fundamentalism is a video clip of adulterer and convicted felon Jim Bakker and Evangelist Billye Brim discussing the recent Women’s March in Washington D.C.
lol-These people crack me up. And what makes it even funnier is the scary music at the end.
Demons are the perfect scapegoat: they get blamed for everything! You’d almost feel sorry for them.
Early scribes (the very ones fundamentalists believe preserved the Bible without error) did not have a patron saint, they had a patron demon in Titivullis, an underling of Satan who caused the scribes to make errors so he could collect them in a sack to gives to his master. Scribes loved him, as he was to blame for the errors in their work, not they themselves. They were literally able to say, “the devil made me do it”. (hat tip to Flip Wilson)
…”Evil,”…”filled with demons”…..says the angry, miserable old bint who has probably never had an orgasm in her life.
Sometimes I don’t know whether to be angry with women like this, or just feel sorry for them because they have obviously led such small, unhappy, miserable lives.
oh yeah! I am an EVIL FILLED DEMON!!!!!!!!!!!! oh, fuck you sweetie. The Women’s March in Charleston SC was so empowering!
