We are not sure how long the new telescope has been operating. We [I, Derrick Thiessen] just found out about it last night, and unbelieving scientists are touting it as the miracle of science. [What Tee can’t be bothered to name is the Simonyi Survey Telescope at the Vera Rubin Observatory in Chile.]
….
Since the universe is not expanding, dark energy most likely does not exist, and we do not think that dark matter exists either. It is just more made-up stuff by unbelieving scientists.
….
Unbelieving scientists continue to chase the wrong things using the wrong tools and going down the wrong path. Then, while dismissing this telescope is easy, Christians need to be more on guard.
….
The telescope may be an amazing piece of human construction and technology, but its main goal, whether stated or unstated, is to continue to deceive Christians and unbelievers.
It cannot find evidence for things that never existed. It can only capture what God did at creation. Anything else is read into the images by unbelieving scientists. Why do we find evidence for God everywhere? It is because God knew that humans would be exploring the heavens, the earth, and the oceans.
He made sure they were without excuse at the final judgment. God has let Himself, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit be known easily.

The new telescope has been advertised that it could possibly find the origins of the universe.
….
However, finding the origin of the universe is impossible.
The origins are gone, and the only evidence that there was an origin is the fact that the universe and everything in it exists today. The title of that video is misleading, but it also shows how arrogant and unintelligent scientists are.
The arrogance leads them to think they can build a telescope that can see into the past (which the video states it may do). The past is gone, and God is not going to be found repeating what he already did.
This leads to the unintelligent aspect of scientists. They think they can find something that no longer exists. Also, they think they can find a natural origin that never took place and never existed. That is just dumb.
We have the origin of the universe that everyone can read [the Bible], and no one has to spend billions of dollars to find it. All one has to do is buy or borrow a bible, read the first few verses of Genesis one, and they have the origins of the universe.
….
No matter what man does and marvels at, God has done it bigger, better, and more glorious. When you watch these videos, keep in mind what we wrote in the previous article on the telescope. It cannot see into the past, it cannot see creation or the origin of the universe, and it is never better than what God did.

This “Dr.” Tee and what he has to say about this new telescope vs the Bible.
Challenge him that if all Christians need is their God for protection, then why support hospitals, police, the armed forces, science. Perhaps deep down they know the Bible is elaborate fairytales and nothing to do with the real world. Ask him if he could put it to a vote by his congregation. All parishners must be turned away by hospitals OR be left to God for healing. All fire departments, police, armed forces to be disbanded. Their God will easily take over those roles. After all, we don’t want anyone playing God now, do we ?!? See how shallow and hollow their beliefs are in their God. Given this, you’ll find them all as non-believers. See if I’m wrong.
Hmmm I see it 👀 this way: human beings have been created with an unquenchable thirst for learning, exploring, expanding. It’s just how God made us. Herein lies the impetus behind every invention, every innovation, every new genre of music, etc. We are always creating, and exploring Creation. The Bible says that God has placed eternity into the hearts of men. Looking into the night sky, into the myriad stars, I feel as though I’m peering into the face of God. A famous astronaut once said the same thing, I found out later. To explore our environment, whether it be land, sea, sky, or outer space is not a sign of pride, or a danger of deception…it’s just how we are wired. It is appreciating the genius of all that is created, as a gift 🎁, with childlike wonder! And yes, the wonder of the universe is that it ✨️ IS always expanding into infinity.
Now, about the first commenter’s comment 😁 about if God is what we depend on, then should we not forgo the help of hospitals, doctors, policemen, etc. I just gotta say to that…it was Christians who started the first hospitals, it is the law from the book of Moses upon which much of our laws are based, and policemen, or “authorities” as the Bible calls them, were put in place, as agents of God to provide enforcement of law and order.
Thank you for posting this. It is a very thought-provoking perspective on the Vera C. Rubin Observatory. However, a few of the scientific claims in the letter warrant some clarification.
The expansion of the universe, for example, is not a theory but a well-established observation supported by decades of data from multiple telescopes. The concepts of dark matter and dark energy, while still mysterious, are inferred from overwhelming observational evidence related to the rotation of galaxies and the accelerating expansion of the universe. This is based on a foundational understanding of physics and mathematics, not a form of deception.
Regarding the telescope’s ability to see into the past, this is a fundamental principle of astronomy. Because light travels at a finite speed, when we look at objects billions of light-years away, we are literally seeing them as they were billions of years ago. It’s not a trick or a deception; it is simply a function of how the universe works. A belief in a 10,000-year-old universe would mean that we would only see a small, localized bubble of stars within our immediate galactic neighborhood and nothing beyond it. This makes the cosmos all the more fascinating for many of us who do not believe in a God who created it all.
The purpose of this telescope is not to dismiss faith, but to help us understand the mechanisms and history of the universe in a way that is verifiable and repeatable. While science and faith can and do coexist, with many dedicated Christian scientists working in these fields, others, including myself, do not believe there is a God who created it all.
I’ve always loved astronomy, and visit sites showing the latest images all the time, and yesterday I learned about a ” firewall” beyond our solar system. It’s very hot, but there’s no flames. Voyager I and II are still going strong, sending back information. Astronomy doesn’t seem to be Tee Hee’s forte’ much less a hobby. I wouldn’t take him seriously.
“I don’t understand physics and mathematics. I am unwilling to accept that I am reading mythological stories from a time before we had technological advances and am accepting them as unrefutable historical and scientific facts. People who don’tbelieve as i do are wrong and demonic.” – Mr Tee
There, I summarized what Mr Tee is trying to say.

“The origins are gone” Wait a sec Doc T, you know that when you look into the vastness of space, you’re also seeing back in time. Local stars appear as they did decades or centuries ago, but other galaxies can be a billion years ago, some longer. The origins might be gone, but it is still new to us.
Well I’m a Doctor myself, though unlike Doc Tee I actually have a diploma from an accredited institution to confirm it. I’m not the kind of Doctor who does surgery or writes prescriptions but I am qualified to advise “Doctor” Tee to add a lot of fibre to his diet and if that doesn’t relieve him, perhaps an occasional dose of laxative.
