Sounds of Fundamentalism: Lori Alexander Has a Metaphorical Orgasm Over the Prospect of Overturning Roe v. Wade

The Sounds of Fundamentalism is a series that I would like readers to help me with. If you know of a video clip that shows the crazy, cantankerous, or contradictory side of Evangelical Christianity, please send me an email with the name or link to the video. Please do not leave suggestions in the comment section.  Let’s have some fun!

Today’s Sound of Fundamentalism is a video clip of Lori Alexander, The Transformed Wife, giddily rejoicing over the prospect of the right-wing majority on the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. Evidently, Samuel Alito did for Lori what her husband, Ken, could never do. 🙂

Does she believe that pregnancy resulting from rape or incest is “God’s will?”

Does her idea of “Biblical womanhood “ include being beaten to a pulp by a man?

And does being a good Christian mother entail staying home with her child even when there isn’t enough money to feed, clothe or house her child because the man doesn’t make enough—or has disappeared?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

I think I threw up a little while gritting my teeth, trying not to hurl my orange juice at the computer screen. Listening to that crap has not only lowered my IQ by at least 10 points, but has raised my blood pressure by 20.
What in the ever-loving-hell-fire-damnation-Mother Mary-Sweet-Jesus-MF-Christ did I just listen to??

I guess some still believe this is the 1950’s after all? Wow.
