Christians Say the Darnedest Things: Joe Biden is a Cognitive Challenged Communist

I was thinking about that recently. If Obama was a communist, what do we have today in the White House?

A pretender? A fascist? A dunce? An incompetent? A traitor to these United States and everything they stand for? A guy who is few French fries short of a Happy Meal? A tad cognitively challenged?

….

Biden sees Americans as domestic “enemies.” Remember when he called Americans who believed in voter integrity racists like George Wallace, Bull Connor and Jefferson Davis – all Democrats?

And we’re supposed to believe that this is the guy who won a record number of popular votes – 81.2 million – in 2020? I wouldn’t be surprised if he actually got less than half of that. For being part of that fraud, he will always live in infamy, shame, dishonor and contempt.

He’s irrational. He condescending. He’s frustrated. He’s angry. He’s embarrassing himself and this once great nation.

How has he done that? Let me count the ways.

  • He’s turned our immigration laws into a joke – allowing more than 2 million people from 160 countries to move here during the Biden administration. He hasn’t screened them and promised them MONEY – your tax dollars.
  • He has made it possible for Americans to kill themselves with fentanyl, a synthetic opioid that is 80-100 times stronger than morphine. It’s killing more people between teenagers and 45-year-olds than anything else – including the pandemic, auto crashes and all causes of death. This is a byproduct of the massive border crossings and the plague of cartels.
  • Remember Afghanistan? What a debacle! He surrendered unconditionally to the Taliban and ISIS – and left Americans behind, not to mention $80 billion in military equipment.
  • He declared war on the police, turned America lawless and gave us a serious crime wave.
  • The he went to work on the economy. Remember? We must never forget the way he flipped it. He took the most productive, energy efficient, independent nation in the world at such a vital time and squandered it. He broke the supply chain, and taxed us all when we could least afford it. Prices on food, gas and durable good – everything – skyrocketed with no plan in sight.
  • Don’t forget what Biden did with his “domestic enemies” and the so-called Jan. 6 “insurrectionists.” There are still hundreds of Americans being more harshly treated than those incarcerated in Guantanamo Bay, while he lets those real terrorists go.

And, all the while, he kvetched, he stumbled over his speech, he forgot what he was doing, he forget where he was, where he was going. In between, the great plagiarist made up stories.

Christians Say the Darnedest Things: Evangelical Man Admits the Bible is Hogwash

Atheist philosopher Bertrand Russell was once asked what he would say if he found himself standing before God on the judgement day and God asked him, “Why didn’t you believe in Me?” Russell replied, “I would say, ‘Not enough evidence, God! Not enough evidence!’”

What this assumes is that if enough unambiguous and irrefutable evidence were presented it could, potentially, lead to belief.

That seems intuitive in a worldly sense so I get why someone who is dead in sin would think that way. What supposedly rational people like Russell are unable to grasp, though, is that a lack of evidence is not what keeps people from faith, spiritual blindness is. Here are a few relevant passages from Scripture.

The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. (1 Corinthians 2:14)

To open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’ (Acts 26:18)

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. (Romans 1:18-21)

To paraphrase a quote I read somewhere a while back but cannot remember where. I don’t believe Christianity because it makes sense but because without it nothing makes sense. And that is the divide between those who have been called and those who have not.

Granted this will sound like hogwash to those who are dead in sin and hogwash-ish to those who think they are one good evidential argument away from converting the hardened online skeptic they have been arguing with for days. But evidence in the traditional sense doesn’t matter.

In fact, without Scripture and the God of Scripture nothing matters. And not only does nothing matter, nothing makes sense, not even science.

Christians Say the Darnedest Things: Men Want Skinny Women With Long Hair

It seems men aren’t allowed to have preferences in this feminist culture that offend women, as I found out quickly on my Men Prefer Debt-Free Virgin post. A man who goes by The Multibeast on Twitter wrote this: “Long hair, sundress, no tattoos, clean skin, carefree attitude, caring demeanor, ability to make things beautiful, nurturing, kind, values family, no ‘ax to grind’ = the most powerful thing on planet earth. Has ALL the chips. Can write her own ticket. Nothing is more powerful.” Of course, women were highly offended when I shared it on my social media sites.

Another man on my Gab account wrote this under The Multibeast’s tweet that I had shared:

“I’ll share a secret with you ladies. If you want to be more attractive than 90% of women in your age bracket, there are only two things you have to do:

“- Keep your weight down
“- Keep your hair long

“Do not worry about nails, makeup, hair treatments, skin care, jewelry, shoes, purses, or fashion. My wife spends no money on the above because none of them are important. She keeps her hair long and her weight around 120 pounds, because these are extremely important.

“I know young women 100 pounds overweight who spend a fortune on makeup and hair products and wonder why they can’t find a husband. Just do the two things above, save thousands, and look better than most women easily.”

This too, offended many women. “How could he think all women should be 120 pounds?” and many other comments explaining how wrong his comment was.

Then, a man on my Instagram wrote the following:

“If a woman does NOT care to try to please her husband the best she can, then you’re right, this post isn’t helpful. It is definitely Biblical though. I will explain.

“Does not even nature itself teach you that… if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her?” (1 Corinthians 11)

“Long hair is a sign of feminine beauty in numerous places in the Bible, both in the Old Testament and the New. Men were NEVER condemned for wanting physically desirable women in the Bible, only for focusing on that AT THE EXPENSE of more important things. Jacob was never condemned for desiring the more beautiful, Rachel, over Leah. Both were good women, but one was younger and prettier according to the Word of God. If Rachel had been a harlot, I bet Jacob would’ve been scolded for desiring her above Leah. Likewise, women are never condemned for wanting men who have a greater ability to provide and protect.

“Lori ASSUMES her followers (if they aren’t already married) are interested in attracting the best husbands, and the best naturally have more options in women. So she assumes women would want to be spend their time on things that have higher value versus lower value. She also assumes that her followers want to please their husbands, as the above scripture instructs. “For example, if you’ve only got 30 minutes per day to invest in activities to either: 1) maximize your market value to potential future husbands by making you more desirable than other women, or to 2) pleasing your existing husband, better to use those 30 minutes to get a quick workout in than to paint your nails or put on your makeup. I have nothing against makeup and nails or anything else feminine, I love ALL the feminine stuff, but some things are simply more valuable than others.

“I don’t normally try to speak for large groups of people, but if there is absolutely anything in the WORLD I would do it, it’s this. Lori is 100 percent right. In the eyes of men, these two things are far more important than any other outward-appearance efforts women can make. Truth is always useful, whether it is Biblical or not, but here, it is Biblical. Young North American women today seem to go out of their way to make themselves as repulsive to men as possible, both with their bodies and their personalities. Tats, piercings (in inappropriate and potentially dangerous places other than their ears), and excess body weight that they defiantly have no intention of bringing under control are the physical repellent. A perpetually angry, defensive, arrogant, hate-filled attitude is the even more hideous behavioral repellent. It is unfathomable to me how the amount of emotional energy required to maintain this front cannot be a painful burden to carry. How can it not perpetuate both mental AND physical illness?

I will make sure any future wife of mine has these amazing qualities. It shows a lack of control if they are fat. Ugh. They will dress to please me, no lying around in sloppy clothes. Christian women have a absolute duty to do this for their husband. It is soul destroying to see women who are overweight, with short trendy hair, colored very strangely and clothes that are totally inappropriate in a Church. Stay away from them, gentlemen!

It’s truth that you are not allowed to say out loud. I am not a young woman, but instead of getting manicures and caring about shoes and clothes, I work-out and stay in shape. 17. THEY DON’T HAVE A PLAN FOR INTENTIONAL PARENTING!

Some of my unsaved friends appear [love Dixon’s use of the word “appear”] to be great fathers and mothers. But, can we talk? That’s only because they are borrowing parenting skills from Christianity — and probably don’t know it. [Really? I mean REALLY?] Others of my friends aren’t loving their spouse as they should, allow their children to have whatever they want whenever they want it, and invest zero minutes in training their children in godliness. [You mean like countless Evangelical marriages? I was a pastor for twenty-five years. Oh the stories I could tell about “good” Christian marriages and how they “raised” their children.]

One of my unsaved friends [I wonder if Dixon’s unsaved friends are aware that he is gossiping about them on his blog?] is making some poor choices in his family. He loves his daughter much more than his wife. He doesn’t feel he is respected by either. He simply doesn’t have the foundation to be the spiritual leader in his family. And, sadly, I don’t think their marriage is going to make it.

However, good news! This friend has agreed to have a Bible study with me on the gospel of John! Pray that he will come to Christ and become the husband and father God wants him to be. [Ah, yes, reading the gospel of John, agreeing to a set of Bible propositions, and praying the sinner’s prayer is a magic elixir sure to fix whatever ails your marriage and family. Again, I was an Evangelical pastor for twenty-five years. Dysfunction was the norm, not the exception.)

Christians Say the Darnedest Things: The Bible Has One Theme, One Coherent Plot, and is Unified Throughout

I will take a look at your [Neil Robinson’s] blog posts, but honestly I don’t expect anything more than I have read in many atheist apologies. And you probably would say the same of my brief appeal to the classic cosmological and teleological arguments. So we are at an impasse. But since you have a background in literature, I will add this one.

The Bible is a book made up of 66 books (Protestant). They were written over about one thousand years time, and probably include pieces that are older than the oldest OT book. There are more than 20 different authors. Yet the Bible has one THEME and a COHERENT PLOT and is UNIFIED with no rabbit trails or strands of thought that are unconnected to the central theme. 

If the Bible were written by one author, that would be remarkable in a book that ranges so broadly across history. Written by multiple authors, it is more than remarkable. Even given that there were editors and a selection of books from among a larger number, that is remarkable. 

The INTRODUCTION in Genesis 1-6 and particularly in Genesis 3 is so necessary to the larger narrative that it is inconceivable that the plot could be created apart from that background because it includes an introduction to the primary characters and the first and underlying CONFLICT for the whole book. And that is to say nothing of the DENOUEMENT in Revelation that ties together the narrative in a conclusion that resolves all the conflicts. 

It does this while being comprised of pieces in many different genres written in styles that even now are recognized to be some of the best of all literature written, ancient or modern. 

As a student of literature, I cannot imagine how that can have happened. It has no equal in all of literature. I can only explain it by divine superintendency. And that implies a God.

Christians Say The Darnedest Things: God HATES Religious Plurality

The pope declared to Muslims that “faith in God unifies us.” He wrote that “Catholics, Muslims, and people of all faiths must work together to promote unity, respect, and an “awareness of the great divine grace that makes all human beings brothers and sisters,” calling “pluralism” the “will of God.”

But Catholics and Islamics aren’t the only ones. Progressive mainline Protestants have set aside doctrinal integrity for years, making social justice their gospel allowing them to work with anyone who stands on the same principles of inclusiveness in their circles.

The Southern Baptist Convention has drifted into a pluralistic scheme over the last few years as well, under Russell Moore, the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission head.

But this religious pluralism is not something we should, as Christians, be fighting for. The Scriptures know nothing of “religious diversity” except that it is the very act of spiritual whoredom. It is certainly not divinely inspired. From a Christian standpoint, we are called to call people out of false religions.

God hates other religions. The very first commandment makes this absolutely clear, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery,” and Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Should Christians be fighting to work together with other religions? Should we be working with them on social issues? Well, if the Church is caught up in the social justice zeitgeist of this age, then you really can’t argue against it. Sadly, this is where the majority of the professing church has landed. But the reality is, we should hate other religions. And I mean, hate them with a passion. If God hates it, why are we okay with it? These are other religions that send people to Hell — in droves.

Christians Say the Darnedest Things: Women Need to Stop Causing Horndog Evangelical Men to Lust

Over a year ago, I tried to encourage a young Christian woman to dress modestly. You would have thought I’d counseled her to murder little children! All her friends wore their clothes that way, she reasoned, so who was I to tell her what to do? She was only following the fashion trends!

Fast-forward to Christian Twitter this past week, where a pastor bravely offered a man’s perspective on Christian women who dress provocatively. I’ve seen a lot of Christians vilified for standing on Biblical principles over the years, but never to this extent. According to his critics, he’s objectifying women while ignoring the responsibility men have to control their lustful thoughts. His critics ask what gives men the right to say when a hemline is too high, a neckline is too low or an outfit is too tight. They claim that, once again, men are oppressing women.

Men definitely need to take control of their minds, but we women have a responsibility not to place stumbling blocks in their paths. We can look down our noses all we want, correctly calling out their sin, but we must understand that we can either shield them from temptation by dressing modestly or incite temptation by dressing provocatively. If we choose the latter, Jesus has some sobering words for us:

And don’t you dare manipulate verse 7 by emphasizing the word “man” to get yourself off the hook! God doesn’t judge women more leniently than He judges men. If we come to church, work or even the grocery store dressed in ways that might cause men to look at our bodies, we share in their sin.

Again, I know there are men that will lust after a woman even when she completely covers herself. In cases like that, women bear no guilt. It’s sad that I need to pepper this post with so many caveats just to fend off “what about” challenges that seek to discredit the truth that how we dress can (and often does) elicit improper reactions in our brothers.

Let’s accept the premise that dressing in certain ways does, in fact, encourage men to entertain sinful thoughts about us. Once we acknowledge our part as stumbling blocks, shouldn’t we ask ourselves whether or not we love these brothers in Christ more than we love our cute clothes? Christian love sometimes requires us to sacrifice our personal freedom for the sake of our fellow believers. Instead of judging our brothers for their sin, shouldn’t we love them enough to do whatever we can to discourage them from sinning?

Christians Say the Darnedest Things: “Dr.” David Tee Swears Off Bruce Gerencser and Ben Berwick, Yet Keeps Writing About Them

I promised I would stop responding to Fake Dr. David Tee/TheologyArcheology/David Thiessen/TEWSNBN in 2022. So far, I have been a good boy, but today I plan to break my promise (much like my promise that I will put the toilet seat down) so I can share with readers Tee’s latest post about me and my friend Ben Berwick (who blogs at Meerkat Musings). Since January 1, 2022, Tee has written twenty-four posts about the two of us. Twenty-four! What follows is his latest:

BG had an article the other day about the supposed war on deconstructing one’s evangelical faith. You can read it here if you are interested. We are not [yet Tee responded to it]. The article is filled with the same old false teaching that has been around since Christ walked the earth.

We have had some thoughts on our minds [stop looking at porn, David] for some time now. They concern BG & MM [still too lazy to type out our names]. You will notice that we may only link to an article they wrote as a reference point. We do not analyze their words that much anymore [did you ever analyze our words? I mean thoughtful, critical analysis?].

There is no point to as all we get in response is to be called liars [if it walks, talks, and acts like a liar, it is a liar] and that they did not say what we recorded them as saying. We do not need the hassle [yet, you keep writing about us].

There was a time we did try to understand BG’s story [bullshit] per his public wish. But we found that to be a wasted effort. He really doesn’t want anyone to understand his story [most people understand my story just fine], he just wants to receive sympathy, attention, and play the victim card [and money and blow jobs too :)].

There is nothing you can do for such people. We are sad [no you are not] that he made his decision to walk away from the faith and all we can do is knock the dirt off our sandals fathered from his website [who had sex with my website and fathered, uh, dirt?] and walk away [promise?]. We hesitate to do that because he is already in enough spiritual trouble, we do not want to add to it. [Tees fails to understand that his behavior actually makes me think less of Jesus and Christianity, as do all such Christian Assholes. Do better, David, do better. Start with the fruit of the Spirit.]

Be careful when you encounter those who once believed and now do not. They will trample pearls beneath their feet and cause you great harm if you are not careful [😂😂😂].

You may question your faith if you listen to their words [that’s the idea]. Don’t listen to them as they are nothing but false teachers and false prophets [yes, but are our words true?]. They do not bring you anything from God [of course not, we are non-Christians] nor will they help you in your spiritual growth [we will, however, help you get free from the Evangelical cult].

They will help you walk away from your faith if you let their seeds of destruction get planted in your souls and minds. We watched Bart Ehrman debate Craig Evans once and the former did not come to debate.

He came to evangelize the faithful away from the faith [this is a lie, or, at best, a personal opnion]. That is what BG and other atheists will do if you let them [resistence is futile]. They are ready to evangelize you away from salvation with their lies and untruths [and with Satan’s help, we will prevail].

Don’t let it happen. Stick with [my Fundamentalist version of] the truth and do not deter from it. Do not listen to those who do not believe but give them the truth in love. They are the ones who are lost and deceived, do not join them.

They are the ones who made the mistake and the wrong decision, not you [sounds like Tee is having a crisis of faith].

Christians Say the Darnedest Things: “Godly” Husbands Have the Right to Violate the Consciences of Their Wives

I’m not sure I agree with this. There are times that someone’s conscience is so misguided that it would be wrong to follow it. For example, suppose the wife is pregnant with a disabled child and believes it is mercy to abort. Her conscience is telling her it is wrong to let the child have a difficult life. Yet her conscience is wrong. Very wrong. The husband would be right to tell her not to kill their child.

I think the husband is given authority to lead the family precisely to avoid the tyranny of the wife’s conscience. We can all get various ideas in our heads about what we should do, and we might even have a strong belief that this is the right thing. But if the wife goes by what she thinks is right all the time, how is her husband to lead her when they disagree? Essentially, any time they disagree, she can invoke conscience and, magically, she gets her way. God gave the husband authority over her conscience on purpose to avoid this problem.

Of course, I fully agree that in the vast majority of cases, when the wife has a conscientious objection, the husband should listen and take this into consideration. That’s wise leadership. If the husband commands his wife against her conscience, he will bear the blame if there is any sin. God will hold him responsible. So it’s a very serious matter. But I would definitely not say he should never require the wife to go against her conscience. God made the husband, not the wife’s conscience, the leader of the home.

No matter what MM [Ben Berwick] or JD [Jill Dennison] says, gun violence is a spiritual problem and the only thing in this world that can have a spiritual problem are humans. [This preacher remains too lazy to type out people’s names.]

Laws have nothing to do with gun violence. It is the people who make the decisions that have everything to do with gun violence. BUT MM and JD continue to target the wrong issues and source of the problem.

Anti-gun advocates are not God and their will is not to be obeyed. They need to learn that they are not in charge and that freedom applies in all directions.

As Christians, we need to bring the truth to the issue and call out those who are more like dictators than human beings living in a republic or a democracy. MM & JD as well as other anti-gun enthusiasts are just wrong in their attitude and campaigns.

They are not Christians and they do not bring any Christian argument to their point of view. It is all personal preference and nothing else. They are committing a greater sin as they falsely accuse honest gun owners of committing crimes they had not even thought of doing.

What provoked this unnamed Evangelical preacher’s tirade?

For readers unaware of my position on gun control, I support strict, restrictive firearm laws. I plan to flesh out my views in an upcoming post. I’m sure my post will be a “bang” to those who errantly believe the Second Amendment grants them the unrestricted right to own firearms or those who say that “guns don’t kill people, people do. Stay tuned.
