This is the one hundred and sixty-first installment in The Sounds of Fundamentalism series. This is a series that I would like readers to help me with. If you know of a video clip that shows the crazy, cantankerous, or contradictory side of Evangelical Christianity, please send me an email with the name or link to the video. Please do not leave suggestions in the comment section. Let’s have some fun!
Today’s Sound of Fundamentalism is a video clip from a sermon preached by Tony Hutson, pastor of Middle Tennessee Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee,
Hilarious. He forgot to mention that Tim Tebow is gay. Like the Bill Maher sketch, “I don’t know if for a fact, I just know it is true.” Don’t worry Bro. Tony your daughter is safe.
(I give the guy kudos for naming his son “Troy”)
Yeah, Tebow is deep in the closet. Awesome college football player. Mediocre pro player.
Lordy mercy, all that beer and all those half-naked cheerleaders on a Sunday which is the good Lord’s day.
What happened to judge not lest you be judged? That’s not a Christian thing anymore? I have been out of TN fundamentalist Christianity too long apparently.
