The Sounds of Fundamentalism: Jews Will One Day be Jealous Over Christian Wealth by Cindy Jacobs

cindy jacobs

This is the one hundred and forty-ninth installment in The Sounds of Fundamentalism series. This is a series that I would like readers to help me with. If you know of a video clip that shows the crazy, cantankerous, or contradictory side of Evangelical Christianity, please send me an email with the name or link to the video. Please do not leave suggestions in the comment section.  Let’s have some fun!

Today’s Sound of Fundamentalism is a video clip from a sermon by Charismatic Cindy Jacobs, founder of Generals International.

I’m working on a blog post right now on her other comments from that event, and she’s seriously tone deaf when it comes to race. Unfortunately, she has a history of saying off-the-wall things about diverse racial and ethnic groups, as do some of her New Apostolic Reformation brethren.

“…the Gentiles, that’s us…” How many layers of stupid can you count today? I am so sorry but I cannot endure complete stupidity and especially not from a pulpit. This person wants to explain the symbol of the grafted olive tree to me? Holy shit, it stinks in here… I have to go and barf. And while I am being rude, let me say that this person’s voice is one of the most grating I have ever heard. If she claims to be chosen by God, then I concur, complete and utter torture! No wonder God chose her… Jeebers, only in America, you say? True Gong Show material.
