This is the fifty-fourth installment in The Sounds of Fundamentalism series. This is a series that I would like readers to help me with. If you know of a video clip that shows the crazy, cantankerous, or contradictory side of Evangelical Christianity, please send me an email with the name or link to the video. Please do not leave suggestions in the comment section. Let’s have some fun!
Today’s Sound of Fundamentalism is a clip taken from a Pat Robertson interview of Jerry Falwell. These words were uttered two days after 9-11.
Evidence please. Also the gays are coming the gays are coming. I wonder if the late jerry falwell made sure they taught history at his university. He then probably would have learned about the war of 1812 in which our capital was burned or wwii which active US involvement began with the attack on pearl harbor which was US soil at the time of the attack(even though hawaii was a territory at the time).
Falwell, you miserable bloat on logic. YOU helped 9/11 happen by politicising religion and promoting fear and hatred with your mutually exclusive club. You routinely spoke of other people as if they were less than human and had no reasonable complaints against American bully business. Your hateful hoardes whipped up fear of foreigners and those who were brought up in Islam and follow it into hatred, just as Christianity follows its teachings into viral hate.
When you died I sighed a sigh of relief, you miserable wretch.
